Marlon W. O’Brien

Marlon W. O’Brien

President and Managing Director

Mr. O’Brien began his career as Senior Manager in 1987 and has held his current role since 1992. His background as a Division 1 basketball player brings a healthy competitive attitude and a winning edge mindset to the office. Marlon has led some of the nation’s largest diversified recruiting efforts within the Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare and Banking & Leasing industry. He also heads up the Bernards consulting practice. Marlon holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Upsala College and Texas AM Commerce.

Debbie Davidson

VP OF OPERATIONS

Debbie Davidson is VP Of Operations and General Office Manager, she has been with the firm since its inception. Debbie provides full administrative support to The Bernards Group team and makes sure each and every team member has the resources needed to fulfill their personal and team goals. Debbie assist the team with continuous training to maintain client and career match data. Debbie consistently encourages the team by using various performance indicators. Debbie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland.

Randy Campbell

Sr. Account Manager

Randy Campbell was in the financial services industry for more than 15 years. He has worked for the captive finance divisions of AT&T, Siemens and Sony where he gained an in-depth understanding of the financial services industry and its talent requirements. He has recruiting expertise in the area of Credit, Collections, Documentation, Asset Management, Workout and Financial Analysis with emphasis in the Leasing, Banking and Insurance industries. He traveled the country growing up as a Military Brat and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Hawaii.

John Breault

John Breault

Strategic Alliance Partner

John Breault is an Alternative Investment and Family Office recruiting and compensation consultant. His background includes management positions at Commodities Corporation (one of the first hedge funds), Goldman Sachs, Dow Jones and Heidrick & Struggles. John specializes in matching candidate-client culture. Culture match predicts 60+% of the success of a placement. While working at Commodities Corporation/Goldman Sachs, he had the opportunity to fill all hedge fund/private equity positions. He brought this one-stop shopping to more than ten repeat clients throughout the world for the last 15 years. John has a BS from Union College and a Masters from Rutgers University.

Curtis Langdon is Corporate and Financial Services recruiting consultant. His background includes Talent Acquisition management positions at BlackRock Financial Management, JP Morgan Chase, and TD Ameritrade. Curtis has significant experience placing candidates at all professional levels in the following verticals: Accounting, Finance, Financial Advisory Services, Fundamental Fixed Income Portfolio Management, Global Trading, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal & Compliance, and Marketing & Communications. Curtis earned his BBA and MBA from Iona College

General Accountant

Darcia has 15+ years experience in all areas of accounting, including several years experience as an auditor with a public accounting firm. She holds B.A. degree from Upsala College along with several accounting courses from Raritan Valley Community College.
